How does the Premium Car Consignment Process work?
After Larry Reid's Auto has received the $249.00 setup fee, you bring your car to Larry Reid's Auto and we will take professional photos and give our signature inspection. From there, Larry Reid's staff will handle all of the work including listing the vehicle, dealing with potential buyers and the negotiation process.

Is the $249 fee the only fee involved?
The only upfront cost is $249.00, Once your vehicle sells a standard 10-8 or 6%*Commision Plus $150.00 to fund any repairs per the federal buyers guide (this is an average charge to all Premium consignment vehicles to cover any repairs covered under the federal buyers guide) is given to Larry Reid's Auto and you keep the rest.
* Commission Rate (10% 0-9,999, 8% 10,000-$17,999 and 6% $18,000 and up): Note sometimes a buyer may ask for additional work to be done to complete the sale you will be responsible for those costs.

Will anyone be contacting me about my vehicle?
No. Once you have filled out the necessary information with Larry Reid's staff, you will be taken out of the buying and selling process. You won't have to deal with potential buyers and the negotiation.

How long will Larry Reid's sell my car for?
The $249 dollar setup and consignment service is good for 90 days. If the car is not sold, you will have the choice to renew your consignment contract.

What documentation do I need to sell my car?
You will need to have the official title of the car and proper identification to appoint you as the legal owner. We also will take care of paying off your lien once your vehicle is sold and paid for in full. You will be still responsible to your bank for your payments while the vehicle is for sale.

Is my car protected while Larry Reid's auto attempts to sell it?
Your car will be placed on our secure lot.

What steps are taken if my vehicle is not in perfect, selling condition?
After Larry Reid's staff completes the 70 point signature inspection, you will be given an analysis of what steps, if any, are needed to recondition your car for a quick sale.

Will I need to keep my Insurance active?
Yes you will need to keep your insurance active and up to date you own the vehicle until it's paid for and delivered to its new owner.

All repair work will be approved by you before it is done but must be paid for when Completed by cash check or credit card.

With our Economy consignment plan

We take care of the proper paper work for a clean sale. Just bring in your vehicle and title to register for our services. We then call you with any offer that we receive and you decide if it's acceptable. If not, we do all we can to negotiate one that is. When you receive an acceptable offer, we then administer all of the paper work and title transfer. The Economy sale is between you the seller and the buyer we will provide, produce and direct the buy/sell paperwork but you are selling the vehicle direct to the buyer, we are just acting as an agent to get a buyer and seller together.

Your vehicle must be paid for with no liens.

We will help with all paperwork financing and service contracts as needed.

Registration is only $75 which includes 30 days display and test drives.

Remember, you only pay the flat consignment fee when your car sells!

No warranty's or guaranty's are provided by Larry Reid Auto to the buyer unless purchased separately, this is strictly an as is sale between you the seller and the buyer.

*30 days of display are included with registration. If your car does not sell at the end of the 30 days, you pay nothing more. If your car sells, you then pay the flat consignment fee depending on the sale price.
